Product Description Grove Sketch is an immersive three-part series of graphite compositions on textured paper. In Grove Sketch 2, two heavily shaded trees become a frame for the mountain range in the distance. Serving as the central focus of the piece, the rocky slopes of the mountain are given texture and dimensionality through careful hatching. Throughout the work, falling leaves, shaded outlines, and bare branches are indicative of late autumn. Along the ground, lines suggestive of tree roots and blades of grass are used to complete the quiet forest imagery.
The hushed tones and subtle details within Grove Sketch 2 work beautifully against a soft pastel grey background. A mesmerizing addition to the carefully curated ART by TA collection.
