Partners in Design

Joining the Partners in Design program is simple - sign up directly online, or download the application form to complete and turn in at our office during your next visit. To enroll in our Partners in Design program, you will need to complete the Partners in Design application and provide the following information:

• Signed W-9 form (must include SSN or Federal Tax #)
• Copy of Business License
• Resale Certificate issued by the state where product will be delivered (if you plan to resell)

Please attach all forms to your online digital application. If manually submitting your application, please submit all forms and documents to [email protected].

Upon registration, new members will receive a Partners in Design membership card, which provides designers and their clients with a wide variety of benefits, including:

• Our complimentary Room Planner
• Priority notifications for upcoming sales and promotions

As a thank you for using Hickory Furniture Mart for your clients, select showrooms also offer Partners in Design members commissions and bonuses based on tiered annual sales goals. Enjoy these perks with:

• 4.5% commission and 10% discount on all regular priced items (excludes sale and clearance items)
• Tiered bonus program for designers meeting tiered annual sales goals each calendar year. Sales must be made at participating showrooms inside Hickory Furniture Mart, and are based on the following system:
  • $100,000 in total sales (tax included) = $500 bonus check
  • $200,000 in total sales (tax included) = $1,500 bonus check
  • $300,000 in total sales (tax included) = $3,000 bonus check
  • $400,000 in total sales (tax included) = $5,000 bonus check
  • $500,000 in total sales (tax included) = $7,500 bonus check

Note: Calendar year runs from January 1 - December 31. Annual sales totals do not include Guardsman warranties or any delivery charges, but do include clearance and sale purchases and NC sales taxes.
