Game Room Furniture and Design

Whether you’re watching a movie, playing pool or simply enjoying good friends, a game room is a place of entertainment. Design a space in your home where your friends and family can relax and have a good time.

Your game room will be a place where lots of people will gather, so make sure there’s plenty of seating. Sectional couches offer a lot of space for everyone, and recliners are a comfortable option for helping people unwind. If your couch or chair doesn’t recline, let people relax and put their feet up on an ottoman.

And don’t forget the snacks! Be sure to have small side or pub tables where you can put a bowl of chips or a drink. Having bar stools will make it easy to be social and stay close to the mini fridge.

Make sure you have an entertainment center that has enough space for your TV and organizes all of your electronics. An entertainment center or TV stand that has glass compartments make it easy for you and your guests to see what DVDs, consoles or games you can watch or play. If you want a home theater, consider getting theater-style recliners with cup holders to maximize the experience.

Be sure to have a central wooden game table to for poker, chess, and checkers. Want to add some spirit and hearty competition to your game room? Incorporate your favorite sports team’s logo into your décor in accessories such as wall flags, blankets or even on your bar stools or a side table.  Decorations such as gumball machines, old tin signs, and neon clocks also can be a fun talking point, so decorate your game room with trinkets that reflect your personal style.

Whether you’re watching a film, playing video games or shooting billiards, finding the right game room furniture will ensure that you can design an entertaining space for your friends and family.
