Item Description
Product Description A Queen Anne Chair with an upholstered back in lieu of a splat. Elongated shepherd's crook arm. Distinctive cabriole legs, with unusual splayed back legs. Nail trim. This chair owes to Lord Middleton and the family's home at Wollaton Hall - a Tudor palace filled with the work of Robert Adam, Thomas Chippendale and England's well - known portraitists. The crown suggests that it was made for the visit by the royal family. Ideal at a desk or positioned as a piece of sculpture. Optional gold decorated trim accents on crown and legs (5139D, inset). Circa 1710.
