It is important to purchase the right size television for your room so that it is comfortable for everyone to see. \u00a0For perfect placement, it should sit at eye level when the viewers are seated and you may use this rule of thumb to determine the proper distance: seating area should measure two times the distance of the screen size. \u00a0For instance, if the screen size is 42\u201d, then the seating area should be approximately 7 feet away.<\/p>\n

The best seating arrangement is when the television can be seen straight on by everyone, but most room layouts do not allow for this to happen unless it is a theater room or bonus room which has been specially designed for this purpose. \u00a0The new flat panels have an immense viewing angle and better clarity so the person seated to the side isn\u2019t going to miss out. \u00a0\u00a0Wall mounted arms are also available to help with angling these units to accommodate tricky room configurations better.<\/p>\n

You should place your furniture first in order to give the room some type of flow. \u00a0Most women prefer not to have the television as the main focal point of any room unless it is the theatre room. \u00a0Moreover, not all rooms are able to accommodate the seating arrangement with the television to the side with factors like fireplaces or windows. \u00a0You should always try to avoid placing the screen above the fireplace as it is too high for optimal viewing, but if you must, there are a few solutions.<\/p>\n
