Q. Is the furniture discounted at Hickory Furniture Mart?
Yes. The Mart offers various discounts across our retailers, with most factory outlets offering an additional 50-70% off standard MSRP. Keep an eye out for clearance items and High Point Market samples offered by showrooms all year long and our special sale events, which take place throughout the year.

Q. Is it really worth the trip?
Absolutely. With over 100 factory and multi-brand outlets, custom order stores, and dedicated manufacturers' galleries all under one roof, we are very proud of our reputation for high-quality craftsmanship, value, and service. We offer over 1,000 premier brands, up to 65-80% off most standard retail prices, consolidated shipping services domestically, and international shipping around the world to ensure your experience with us is definitely worth the trip.

Q. Are you open to the public?
Yes, we welcome anyone who is interested to visit us at the Mart. Take advantage of our wide selection of furniture styles, vast amount of furniture and design resources, and famous North Carolina discount pricing available throughout the Mart.
Visiting hours are Monday-Saturday, 9am-6pm and select Sundays from 12pm-5pm during our special sale event weekends.

Q. Why does your site ask for registration? Is my information sold?
We kindly request that all visitors register with us before shopping. This registration gives you exclusive access to valuable information about upcoming sale events and promotions, and allows us to better understand where our visitors are coming from so we are able to provide them with important updates and information about the Mart. This information strictly remains confidential and is never sold to any outside agencies. We know you trust us with this information and we value your privacy.

Q. Do you have any special promotions or sales coming up?
Yes. We offer a number of sale events and promotions throughout the year where visitors receive exclusive discounts and savings on our diverse range of styles and brands. Be the first to know about these sales, promotions, shipping discounts, and more by signing up for our preferred customer newsletter.

If you are unable to visit during any of our special sale events, we also offer standard discount pricing on custom orders and special manufacturers' pop up discounts all year long. Additionally, our clearance and Market samples brought in for each sale stay on the floor until they are sold. Always come at the most convenient time in your schedule and you will definitely find ample discounts available during both sale and non-sale events.

Q. Do you offer discounts on hotel accommodations for those visiting from out of town?
Yes. We are proud to partner with several local hotels including Courtyard by Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn, and more to offer special rates for furniture shoppers visiting North Carolina. Q. Do you provide airport transportation?
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the airports in our area. However, we are happy to provide suggestions for local transportation services, such as the popular Hickory Hop shuttle to and from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and we do have a local airport in Hickory for private planes. Q. Is plenty of parking available?
Yes. We have ample parking spaces available, including accessible parking near our main entrances and designated parking areas for larger vehicles such as rental trucks, RVs, and buses.

Q. Do you offer group tours? And if so, is there a cost?
We are thrilled to offer group tours throughout the year at no additional charge to you. Contact Tracey Trimble at (828) 322-4825 (ext. 8307) or [email protected] to discuss your tour. Every tour member receives a welcome bag, tour of the Mart, and a brief presentation with information on current industry trends. If your group has a specific desire to visit any local furniture factory or other local attractions, Tracey is able to customize your visit for you with the help of her community partners.

Q. Is the Mart accessible? Do you offer wheelchairs or motorized carts?
Yes. Accessible parking is available at our south entrance, conveniently located close to the door and elevator access available directly inside. Manual wheelchairs are available upon request, and our guest services representatives will be happy to assist you in arranging one for your visit. Unfortunately, motorized cart rental is not available inside the Mart at this time, but we are able to provide you with daily or weekly motorized cart rental contacts nearby, offering onsite delivery. It is best to reserve these in advance to ensure availability on the days needed.

Q. Is Hickory Furniture Mart family-friendly? Do you have a play area for children?
While we always welcome children at the Mart, we ask that parents closely supervise them while they are here as there are many fragile and expensive objects throughout our display areas. Unfortunately, we do not have a designated play area for children, however for your convenience, a list of children's activities located near the Mart is available at all of our main entrance desks and online here.

Q. Are strollers welcome? Do you provide them if needed?
Visitors are welcome to bring their own personal strollers to the Mart, but stroller rentals are currently not available inside the Mart.

Q. Are pets allowed inside?
Service animals of all sizes are always welcome to accompany your visit to the Mart. Some showrooms do allow pets inside their showrooms if leashed or in a stroller; however, each showroom incorporates their own pet policy inside their spaces for non-service animals. If your furry loved ones need a place to relax while you shop, the Crowne Plaza and Best Western are currently both pet-friendly and offer special room rates to our furniture shoppers so their companions are able to rest comfortably while their humans are shopping.

Q. Are there restaurants available onsite?
Yes. For specialty coffees, hot or cold beverages, or a quick snack to tie you over, be sure to check out Taste Full Beans, our locally-owned coffeehouse offering complimentary Wi-Fi service and located on Level 1 at the South Entrance.

Q. Do you have recommendations for additional restaurants nearby?
Yes. Hickory offers many local favorites nearby. Whether you are craving local flair or a more familiar chain restaurant, our guest services representatives are happy to help guide you with their recommendations and a list that also provides directions directly from the Mart to the restaurant of your choice.

Q. What types of payment methods are accepted at the Mart?
For your convenience, most of our showrooms accept personal checks (including out-of-state), most major credit cards, and select showrooms also offer same-as-cash financing options. Please ask your sales associate for more details as these offers tend to change often with their financial partners.

Q. Do you ship purchases out-of-state or internationally?
Yes. We are able to arrange shipment of your furniture and other purchases to anywhere in the world. When purchasing from multiple showrooms, we are able to coordinate consolidated domestic shipping into one convenient delivery. We also offer out-of-country shipping options through an international freight forwarder that will provide you with a quote and handle all packing and customs paperwork needed by any port of entry of your choice.

Q. Do you offer discounts for designers?
Yes. We offer a Partners in Design program for interior designers, builders, developers and real estate agents. Conveniently apply online and view the full list of benefits here.

Note: These discounts and programs are not available in most of our outlets as their inventory is already drastically reduced and priced to move, however, some outlets may offer discounts on high volume purchases placed.

Q. Do you offer returns/exchanges?
Please ensure you have ordered your furniture exactly the way you need it before completing your purchases, as most retailers in the high-end custom furniture industry do not allow returns, refunds, or exchanges.

If an item is damaged upon delivery to your home, you must refuse the furniture with the delivery team and ensure they notate this refusal on your bill of lading at the time of delivery. If your item appears to have a manufacturers' defect, it is almost always identified in the pre-delivery inspection process, and you will be notified by the retailer to discuss a resolution.

Select showrooms in the Mart do allow for returns, but please note that a hefty restocking fee is associated with any return requests.

Q. Is design assistance available?
Yes. Many of our showrooms offer complimentary professional design and decorating services. Private, professional interior design services offering a single point of contact for the building are also provided by our partner, Designing Women, located on Level 3. Q. Do you offer any discounts for hurricane victims?
Yes. We understand the need to rebuild your life and home as quickly as possible after a natural disaster in order to establish some sense of normality. Several of our showrooms offer special discounts and shipping arrangements for victims of natural disasters. Our outlets also offer immediate availability on all off-the-floor inventory that may be taken home the same day it is purchased. Find out more information on our Disaster Relief Program page.

Q. Are personal shoppers available at the Mart?

Q. Do you offer customization on furniture purchased at the Mart?
Yes. Hickory Furniture Mart is well-known around the world for customizing high-end quality furniture that meets each customer's individual needs. Our furniture manufacturers and expert craftsmen offer countless options for customers to select the exact size, color, style, material, upholstery, and firmness levels along with finishing components that are available to customize each piece of their furniture.

Q. What is the Room Planner tool?
This interactive room planner makes it easy to customize and furnish the space of your dreams from the comfort of your home. This tool uses drag and drop technology to place furniture into any shape room by using your exact dimensions and measurements. We recommend using the Room Planner to build the ideal floor plan for your space, which you are able to print and bring to your next visit with us.
